WHY WE TALK ABOUT FINANCES
Our work in Colombia is not-for-profit and we, as well as our work associates depend entirely upon the generous gifts and contributions of people interested in sharing their resources with those who build the Kingdom of God. Our mission is to do all we can to build His great Kingdom, both here in Colombia and among worldwide unengaged Muslim peoples. The only net result we have ever been able to show those who have so generously given over the years are the lives of those who have been transformed by virtue of our work and life, both here and abroad. In Colombia our principal focus is to recruit, train and then do all we can to mobilize Colombian workers to become agents of transformation in similar fashion, especially among Muslim peoples in far-and-distant lands. We have been a part of some already sent out and continue to be in relationship with many others that we've come to know. HOW THIS SUMMER IS SHAPING UP FINANCIALLY
The best way to grow money is to give it away for the cause of building God's Kingdom. Listen, we say this not because we depend on the generous contributions of others, but because IT IS TRUE! The Bible says, "The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully (2 Corinthians 9:6). We testify to the veracity of this truth and make it a principle of life for us. Who says money can't grow on trees? 
Having said this we're breaking the 'piggy bank' this summer to go-all-out in this next gargantuan initiative (clic here to catch a glimpse). We have recently lost other important donors, but our confidence is in God and we trust Him with what we have and with what we believe by faith is still to come.
This first of three phases in our Colombia Loving the Middle East initiative is costing roughly $35,000 USD. Were it not for one precious donor family who believe in their heart this 2 Corinthians 9:6 to be true enough to 'give generously' we would certainly not be embarking on this mega-step at this time (incidentally, in 2014 we began asking God to show us His will, believing one confirmation would be to support our inclinations for this initiative by providing sufficient finances to undertake it, something He did for us on the last day of 2014!). God continues to stretch and lead us into faith-believing/faith-walking people. As you pray right now about your partnership with us in this initiative, or any other 'Kingdom of God' project you might know of ask one question of yourself this day... to what degree am I willing to sacrifice myself and my own, that I, and others might 'take hold of true life'? As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy. They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life.
